Background

Born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil with an aspiring artist as a mother and a film distributor as a father, Micaela always had a passion for the art and entertainment industry. Micaela completed her OCAD University Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Integrated Media in 2021.

Inspiration

Micaela mainly finds inspiration for her artworks in psychology, nature, politics and memory.  

She has a interdisciplinary approach to her work, exploring a variety of mediums to best express her thoughts and feelings through art.
